Innovative content creator and entrepreneur Enes Yılmazer transformed his 11-day Atlantic voyage aboard Arkas Line’s Sine A container ship into a compelling documentary that highlights the human side of the maritime world. Following the Turkish premiere in İzmir this June, the international premiere of Journey Never Ends took place on August 10 in Los Angeles.

As a three-time world champion in the surfing discipline during his childhood and youth years, competing for Arkas Sports Club, Enes Yılmazer now reconnects with the sea in the documentary film Journey Never Ends.

Yılmazer—who has lent his signature to many high-production projects ranging from private jets to luxury residences, mega yachts to architectural design marvels—is once again intertwined with Arkas, a bond that deepened during his athlete years, and now takes on a different dimension with this documentary project.

The filming took place aboard the container ship Sine A, which offers Arkas Line’s weekly regular service to America, capturing the voyage that began at the port of Algeciras in Spain and extended to New York.

Turkey Premiere Followed by World Premiere in Los Angeles

After the Turkish premiere on June 24 at the Arkas Mattheys Mansion in İzmir—hosted by top executives from Arkas Holding and Arkas Line—the international premiere of the documentary took place in Los Angeles. The film, which offers viewers an unconventional ship journey, was first screened to an international audience at The Alex Theatre.

A Red Carpet Gathering

The screening in Los Angeles brought together numerous figures from the arts, media, and business worlds. The event, held in one of the city’s most select venues, began with a red carpet ceremony. After the screening, Yılmazer took the stage and answered audience questions. He said: “This documentary represents a very special turning point for me and my team. The Arkas family has invested so much in me—after my own family, I received the greatest support from Arkas. With Arkas’s material and moral support, I realized my dreams. Throughout my 12-year sports career, Arkas was always by my side. This time, our paths crossed not as an athlete, but as a content creator. When I mentioned the documentary project to Arkas, I said, ‘Open every door for me so I can tell this story to the world.’”

“These Ships Keep the World Turning”

Yılmazer noted that the documentary was finalized after an uninterrupted 11-day sea voyage, more than 9 months of work, and 2,800 hours of production. He commented on the process: “This documentary is not just the story of a ship, but a system. These ships produce their own water, manage their own kitchen, and establish their own order. A 222-meter giant crosses the ocean with a 22-person crew. This is not just a logistics operation—it’s a living space. When you see the labor behind the everyday products in our lives, you start to look at this world differently. These ships keep the world turning.”

Release on August 25

After its international launch, Journey Never Ends will be available to viewers on August 25 on Enes Yılmazer’s YouTube channel.

Silent Heroes of World Trade

Yılmazer’s journey aboard the Sine A not only documents the days at sea but also the lesser-known aspects of the maritime transportation sector—integral to global trade—and the human stories at its core. Journey Never Ends sheds light on the emotional bond the crew forms with the Sine A, which becomes an isolated home in the middle of the ocean. Throughout the film, viewers witness the crew’s longing for their families, anxieties during stormy nights, the life flowing between ports, and the sense of belonging to a vessel that has become home. In this extraordinary story, Arkas Line positions itself not solely as a shipping brand serving four continents in 26 countries, but as the silent architect of the system that quietly sustains global trade.
