Naples-based Grimaldi Group, represented in Türkiye by Egekont which operates under the Arkas umbrella for nearly 30 years, has increased the number of services calling at Ambarli Port from 2 to 3 per week in response to rising transportation demand on the Türkiye–Italy trade route. This adjustment, effective from week 22, has been implemented as part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the Turkish market.

According to the new schedule, there will be 3 round-trip services per week on the Ambarli–Trieste and Gemport–Trieste routes. Additionally, one round-trip service per week will be operated on the Ambarli–Bari and Gemport–Bari routes via Patras intermediate call.

The services will be operated with the vessels Eco Salerno, Eco Malta, and Eco Mediterranea, each with a capacity of 520 units. This will provide customers with increased capacity, operational flexibility, and high service reliability.

This strategic investment by Grimaldi Group further consolidates the maritime transport network between Türkiye, Italy, and Greece, while also strengthening the integration of Türkiye-origin services into the broader Mediterranean transport network through the Patras and Bari connections.
