Arkas Line will upgrade its East Med/Black Sea service with 6000 TEU nominal vessels. The new EBS will be based on a Vessel Sharing Agreement (VSA) between Arkas Line & Seago Line. This will be the 2nd VSA signed between both parties after the Aegean/Spain agreement in May 2016.
 
The average vessel capacity of the new service will be in the range of 5500-6000 TEU nominal. Arkas Line will operate 1 out of 4 vessels (M/V Conti Basel) and Seago the other 3 TBN. The first sailing will be Conti Basel from Damietta
on July 5th, 2016 followed by Seago tonnage.
