Arkasair introduces Challenger 3500: An environmentally friendly, safe, and comfortable new aircraft
Arkasair became the first company in Türkiye to bring in Bombardier’s new aircraft, the Challenger 3500, from the Canadian-based Bombardier company.

Having the Aegean Region’s first and only private jet, Arkasair will continue its top-notch VIP Air Taxi and Charter services worldwide with this brand-new business jet that stands out for its environmental friendliness, safety, and comfort.

Replacing its Challenger 300 model with the new Challenger 3500, Arkasair became the first company in Türkiye to own this model aircraft.

The plane landed at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport on Friday, December 22nd, and will be ready for its first flight after customs procedures. Martine De Andria, Deputy General Manager of Arkasair, expressed happiness in adding the Challenger 3500 aircraft to their fleet, stating, “We are delighted to add the Challenger 3500 aircraft, meeting the flawless standards demanded and expected by our VIP Air Taxi customers. It’s an impressive aircraft that combines a comfortable luxury cabin with superior performance features. We are very excited to achieve a first in Türkiye.”

First Aircraft to Publish an Environmental Product Declaration
Challenger 3500, one of the most preferred models of Bombardier, which is among the industry leaders in designing and manufacturing business jets in the world, has the largest cabin in its class. The aircraft stands out with an 8-passenger luxury cabin capacity, innovative technology, superior performance, and environmentally conscious features.

The Challenger 3500 offers an unforgettable cabin experience by combining technology and design, including Bombardier’s revolutionary Nuage seat, ensuring an impressive travel reliability rate of 99.8%.

Prioritizing safety, luxury, comfort, and sustainability, the aircraft distinguishes itself in the super-medium-sized segment by publishing an ‘Environmental Product Declaration,’ documenting its environmental footprint throughout its lifecycle.

Emmanuel Bornand, Vice President of Sales for Europe, Russia, CIS, Middle East and Africa at Bombardier, said: “We are proud that Arkasair, which has been our customer for a long time, added the Challenger 3500 business jet to their fleet, marking the first delivery of the Challenger 3500 jet in Türkiye. Arkasair and Bombardier share a common vision, tirelessly working to provide our customers with an impeccable flight experience. By manufacturing the best business jets of today, we continue to increase our market share in Türkiye.”
